Drawing from her background as an actor and director, Jess crafts artful and flattering images that get results. Her journey began with an assistantship with renowned New York photographer Peter Hurley. In 2015, she opened her own studio in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, she has shot thousands of actors, musicians, authors, industry leaders, and creative professionals. Her photos have been featured in numerous publications and her clients hail from all around the world.
Committed to providing a premium headshot experience, Jess and her team use the latest technology, collaborate with local artists to create unique backgrounds, and stay up to date with casting industry trends. Known for her dynamic and inventive style, she customizes each session to her clients’ unique needs.
"It felt better than any actual Christmas morning. This is juicer because it’s part of something being set in movement. No toy beats that."
"Not only is Jess talented at what she does, but her energy is infectious. The color shades of her backdrops are unique enough to make you easily pop on camera."
"Thank you so much for these incredible pictures!!! The difference is tangible and felt to the core with how alive they are. Everything else is flat in comparison.... Truly awed! They pop, shine, tell a story and look like me. You are so special."
"From my manager: “An embarrassment of riches. Well worth the investment. Wow. I'll have a more thorough look tomorrow. But very excited.” So we are thrilled!"
"Dang Jessica you nailed these looks for me!! I know I’ve been waiting years but it was worth the wait!! Thank you for every smile, every laugh, every honest opinion!"
Hey, I’m Lauren! Originally from New Orleans, I moved to New York in 2020 to study photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. While in college, I found an unexpected calling—not just behind the camera, but as a photo assistant. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than helping bring creative visions to life! Outside of working with Jess, you’ll probably find me weaving through the city in a minivan (because, let’s be real, it’s the best way to haul gear), pretending I know how to crochet, or confidently butchering a karaoke song. Can’t wait to work with you!
